Our Mexican ancestors believed than when you died, you needed to cross nine different “universes” in order to reach the ultimate destination: Mictlán. Once you suffered for years crossing all sorts of difficulties and challenges, the gods would receive your soul, no matter if you were rich or poor, noble or plebeian. If you made it, you were in a good place and if not… well, let’s not go there.
In a dystopian cyberpunk future we believe people’s spiritual beliefs would shift in a skully manner because let’s not kid ourselves… if there is someone who understands death (and even laughs at it) are Mexicans. And not only now, it is a thing that goes hundreds of years back (and the Spanish conquering the Aztecs was truly dystopian), so surely this can happen again.
Of course, it may not happen but, just in case, you have a T-shirt that that shows you are willing to go to Mictlán, praising and all. And not only that; this piece is super soft and comfy. Check it out batos!
